house
partly
visible
in the
left
background
is
the
parsonage
,
fronting
on
Center
st.
This
house
(built
for
Godfrey)
had
stood
on a
site
in
front
of the
church
building
on
Pequot
Ave.
It
was
moved
when
the
church
was
built
in
1898-99.
The
church
closed
in
1929
and was
torn
down
in the
1930's.

Although
the
house
had a
Center
St
address
, the
front
of the
house
faced
Pequot
Ave.
Front
door
can
be
seen
to
extreme
right
behind
porch
trim.
The
house
was
apparently
moved
straight
back
, not
turned
around.
The
house
was for
many
years
painted
yellow.
The
Samuel
S
Jennings
family
lived
here in the
1920's
and
1930's.
